The Unspoken Truth About Fetal Anomalies
Fetal anomalies are not rare, but they are rarely spoken about.
The hundreds and thousands of hours that parents spend in meetings and doctors visits, getting bloodwork and ultrasounds, not to mention all the tears, heartache and what ifs are talked about even less.
Parents of fetal anomaly babies want their children so badly and are forced to make gut wrenching decisions at a time that is supposed to be filled with overwhelming joy. They should be able to make THEIR decision with THEIR doctors at THEIR hospital in THEIR home state. Because after all, the decisions they make are made out of love for THEIR baby.
My heart breaks for the mommas and daddies who are faced with these circumstances.
I am a mother of a fetal anomaly baby. I chose to carry my son, but that was MY CHOICE!
I stand with you Jill and Lacey and all the other moms and dads of babies with fetal anomalies. It should be your choice!
