Yesterday, I woke up at 6:45, got ready and left the house at 7:15 for my doctor’s appointment at 8:30. I told Thomas bye and left Lillian still sleeping.

I thought I was just going in for a BPP (Biophysical Profile), but after the sonographer finished, the doctor came in and said I needed to head downtown to Labor and Delivery.

Labor and Delivery?

Am I having the baby today?!

To say I was FREAKING OUT is an understatement! My bag was packed, but I still needed my toiletries. I left dishes in the sink. My to do list wasn’t completed.

The doctor assured me everything was fine with the baby, but because of my gestational diabetes, I needed to be monitored and the baby needed to be delivered (one week early).

But I was mostly upset because I didn’t get to tell Lillian and give her one last hug and kiss as our only child on Earth.

I called Thomas, then my mom and within minutes they were on their way. After hours of NST (Non-stress Testing), the doctors were finally ready to deliver!

On April 29th (the anniversary of our engagement) at 3:35 pm Baby Mac #3 was born weighing in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 19 3/4 inches long!

Ten little fingers,

Ten little toes,

A head full of hair

And the perfect little nose!

Welcome to the world Camilla Rose McAlhany! We love you so big!
